A Covered Head, An Uncovered Head, part 3 (1 Corinthians 11:7)

Paul Johnson, September 15, 2013
Part of the 1 Corinthians series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Man is the image and glory of God.

ERRATUM: Unfortunately, in an unscripted portion of my comments about the moon, I said incorrectly that the moon keeps the same face toward the sun. In fact, the moon keeps the same face toward the earth. “The moon makes a complete orbit around Earth in 27 Earth days and rotates or spins at that same rate, or in that same amount of time. This causes the moon to keep the same side or face towards Earth during the course of its orbit” (http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Moon). I apologize for the mis-information. I trust that our wonder at the Lord's creation is not diminished in light of the correct facts! (Paul Johnson)

1 Corinthians 11:7

For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man.
